Ross Davison

Ross is a specialist in the capture and analysis of remotely sensed data for conservation. Prior to co-founding Understory, he worked in heritage conservation working with institutions such as UNESCO, the United Nations, the National Parks Service, USAid, Google Arts and Culture, and Autodesk. In 2015, he was recognized as a National Geographic Explorer. Ross holds a BS in Remote Sensing and a MS in Coastal Science and Policy from UCSC. Ross is based in Pacific Grove, Ca where can often be found on a trail with a bike or backpack.
